DESCRIPTION: The Fellowship of the Ring is an epic saga of good and evil, the power of friendship and individual courage. NOTE: Based on the first book of J.R.R. Tolkien's masterpiece trilogy, The Fellowship of the Ring delivers fantasy adventure on a grand scale while remaining faithful to the original story. It also marks the beginning of the greatest fantasy series in film history: it's sucessors (The Two Towers and The Return of the King) are just as amazing. Tolkien incorporated many biblical themes into his tales, and for the most part, these themes can also be seen in the films. Highly recommended.
