DESCRIPTION: When 19-year-old Alice (Wasikowska) once again wanders into Wonderland, she finds the fantastical world in a dire state of affairs: the sadistic Red Queen (Carter) is in power and ruling with an iron fist. Hailed as a deliverer by the Mad Hatter (Depp) and the White Queen (Hathaway), Alice learns that the only way she can save her friends and free Wonderland is to slay the Jabberwocky.

NOTE: Adapted from the book by Lewis Caroll. Quite possibly the oddest fantasy film I've ever seen. It's an interesting, sometimes humorous, twist on Caroll's fantasy tale, but not one I'd necessarily watch again. Depp is quite good as the Mad Hatter, and Tweedledee and Tweedledum are a hoot. The content is certainly pushing the PG envelope, though, which means this isn't a movie for young ones.
